Undelete nas files using suitable tool

NAS (Network attached storage) is file level data storage that is connected to a computer network that provides data access to different types of computers. Generally, business environment people use these types of independent file servers. NAS servers contain one or more hard drives, which are arranged into logical, redundant storage containers such as RAID arrays. This provides access to files using network sharing protocols such as NFS (Network file system), SMB (server Message Block), or AFP (Apple Filling Protocol). Normally, these NAS file servers maintain one or more internal servers, preconfigured disk capacity and usually a stripped-down or special operating system. Usually, NAS servers are connected via Ethernet to the LAN where disk space is provided as file servers. These servers are specially designed for file sharing. The clients those are located at other end of the WAN have no alternative to correspond over same IP. Extra functions like snapshots, remote mirroring and backup are provided with large NAS servers. NAS operating systems can be optimized better than general operating systems. NAS servers can operate easily than file servers on comparable hardware that are based on generic operating system.  The functions can be removed easily that are not necessary for NAS file servers. NAS servers are economical as its maintenance cost is low.

NAS files are lost from servers due to accidental reconfiguration of RAID drives, configuration corruption that leads to drive failure, multiple drive failure etc. To undelete nas files, you have to use reliable tool that recovers lost nas files efficiently.

NAS servers provide their storage capacity through network file systems like NFS and CIFS or Internet protocols such as FTP and HTTP. Even though these are suitable for file sharing, these protocols are not powerful for I/O intensive applications such as databases or video processing. Therefore, I/O intensive databases draw disk subsystems rather than file servers.

You can even expand large websites by setting up a dedicated NAS server for each project enabled by system administrator. When user wants to read a file on NFS client that is stored on NAS server with internal SCSI disks, NAS operating system first loads the file into the main memory from the hard disk through SCSI bus, the PSI bus and system bus.

The main disadvantage using NAS servers is that upgrade path is unclear. A powerful server cannot simply replace the internal server because this may go against the principle of preconfigured file server.

Remo Recover (Windows) Media edition recovers deleted nas files quickly. This utility recovers data from various types of memory cards like SD cards, Compact Flash cards, XD cards and many more. You can restore images, music and video files from cell phones, MP3 players, iPods, digital cameras that use the memory card. It has the capability to create disk images to bypass the bad sectors. It has the ability to identify and recover data from popular media files. When you download demo version of the software, you are able to preview recovered data before saving and estimate recovery chances of the tool.
